The Haiku Stairs in Oahu, Hawaii, also known as the Stairway to Heaven, is at is at 2800 feet above sea level, and has approximately 4000 steps. It is a legacy of World War II . The strikingly stunning trail has been closed down due to safety reasons.
A Haiku is a Japanese poem consisting of 17 syllables in 3 lines, with 5 syllables in the first and third lines and 7 in the second.
