The king of fishers
in its disrupted habitat
flies away, fearing a trap;
With cats on the prowl,
night hawks stay awake
as they keep an eye on
The empty kingfishers nest!

Beautiful Image and poem.. While I have been owned by many a cat.. I now have to watch neighbours cats on the prowel both with young birds and my gold fish in the pond.. Happy Sunday Somali

Thank you Sue. The natural hunting instinct doesn’t die down I guess. Happy Sunday to you too.

Thank you Balroop…yes the King of Good Times is fearing a trap now. So he is keeping a safe distance from the country.
