celestial cheer in
festal times, clouds combine to
usher the divine!.
May the blessings of Lord Ganesh be always upon you. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi!
Ganesha embodies auspiciousness. He is the God who removes obstacles and hurdles and with whose grace problems disappear and prosperity appears. The picture was taken on Mumbai – Pune Highway. Clouds take the shape of Ganesha, as if the god is bestowing blessings upon all.
A Haiku is a Japanese poem consisting of 17 syllables in 3 lines, with 5 syllables in the first and third lines and 7 in the second.
Lei: A wreath for your soul is a string of short poems reflecting on nature, life, illusion and inspiration.

I always like to see the clouds – they make these shapes and it looks just so mysterious and beautiful. Your haiku complements the picture well.

Thank you Sunaina. Lots of Ganesh idols can be seen on the streets in Mumbai today.

I wish Ganesha and all that He stands for reside in people’s hearts rather than streets.

Isn’t it wonderful how Nature changes herself and clads a colourful garb to celebrate the festivals? Beautiful picture and haiku. Wish you and your family a happy Ganesh Chaturthi… 🙂

Thank you Maniparna. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. I know the festival is not that popular in Bengal, but in Mumbai it is almost akin to Durga Puja in Bengal.
