** The haiku is inspired by the saying ‘A cat has nine lives’. The term ‘catwalk’ refers to a narrow walkway, and is synonymous with elegant walk that models exhibit on the ramp. The graceful sway in the big cat’s walk and the manner in which cats deftly walk over narrow ledges must also have inspired the term ‘catwalk’
A Haiku is a Japanese poem consisting of 17 syllables in 3 lines, with 5 syllables in the first and third lines and 7 in the second.
