Kings vie, soldiers die
vast empires crumble to dust
all for share of pie!

The Haiku is written based on the prompt given by Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Challenge – Pie and Dust

A Haiku is a Japanese poem consisting of 17 syllables in 3 lines, with 5 syllables in the first and third lines and 7 in the second.
